A collection of short video sequences.
You have heard of the Fireplace Channel I am sure. Now you can relax with the sight of Coho Salmon migrating upstream from the underwater perspective. I shot this video in October last year for a Telus Optik TV presentation. It is the longest we know of continuous HD video for TV. Available in 2 and 4 hour segments on Telus On Demand and the full 9 hours on YouTube.
2013 was a historic year on the Tsolum River near Courtenay, BC. Pink Salmon returned in high enough numbers to support an unaided spawn for the first time in decades. Watch this video to see the reasons why there is hope for this important river system.
