Sand beaches that divide the sea from the land

Digging our toes in the sand is a pleasure not easily beaten. Some beaches are right at our door step, and others are so remote that they seldom see a person setting foot on them. Either way, this boundary between land and sea is a dramatic and sought after place to dwell.
