Painted Anemone

Painted Anemone, Urticina grebelnyi

Like splashes of paint on the rocks, these multi coloured anemone grow in large profusion in high current areas.  I areas of less current they grow a little more sparsely but get quite a bit bigger.

It's not hard to see why these anemone are called Painted Anemone. There is a large variety of colour morphs present.
