Kelp Greenling

Kelp Greenling, Hexagrammos decagrammus

These commonly seen small fish on the coast of North America are often inquisitive to divers. The are sexually dimorphic, with the males being more brown with distinctive blue spots and fins. The females have a more uniform orange and light blue speckling covering their bodies with light orange fins.
