Copper Rockfish

Copper Rockfish, Sebastes caurinus

One of the more commonly seen rockfish species, especially for fisherman. These long lived rockfish commonly congregate on wrecks and other reef structures.  Heavily spined, these fish can inflict some damage if one gets poked in in the finger.
