Quillback Rockfish, Sebastes maliger
Frequently caught by fisherman, the Quillback Rockfish is a relatively common sight on the west coast of North America. These rockfish are often seen in groups underwater in areas with big boulders and reef structure. Quillback have distinctive dorsal fins with deep notches between the rays.
