Cabezon, Scorpaenichthys marmoratus.
One of the larger members of the Sculpin family in BC. These large fish spend a lot of their time sitting in one spot on the bottom. When approached they dart away rapidly with the aid of their large powerful tail. Often seen guarding egg masses of multiple broods, each defined by a different colour of eggs.
