Rich diversity of cold water fish abound in the nutrient rich waters of British Columbia.
There is a surprisingly colourful array of fish dwelling in the cold emerald seas of the British Columbia coastline. Rockfish species are the most prevalent but there are many more, from tiny sculpins and gobies to large Lingcod and even bigger Blue Sharks and Mola mola. Large schools of Pacific Herring support many cold water fish including the iconic salmon species that return each year to these waters.
