Swamps
A critical, but often overlooked part of the watershed are swamps, wetlands, and ponds. These bodies of water harbour many plants and creatures, and create a buffering effect for water inundation during floods and during dry spells. Water Lilies, tadpoles, fish, salamanders and more inhabit these precious water ways
